Port Albert - The oldest port in Gippsland

Settlement commenced around 1843. Trade flourished with exports of live cattle to Van Diemen's land & New Zealand, wool to Sydney

The weather has cleared up for a few hours although the wind is very chilly.
Time to put on the heavy coats & beanies

Port Hotel, happy hours tonite so may just wander down & partake!!!
Nice fire roaring made for a pleasant evening, especially when they brought out a tray of nibbles,
party pies, spring rolls, dim sims, chips etc
2nd night in a row we have had a free feed
(last night at the country club in Yarram while the raffles were on)
