PV Jandra paddleboat on Darling river - Bourke

The PV Jandra is a replica paddle vessel built locally by the Mansell family in 2000. The Jandra is licensed to carry 100 passengers & offers regular cruises per day along the Darling river

Last night we stayed at Kidman camp on banks of the Darling river, time to get some washing done
+
"Poets on a Plate" dinner by a campfire & a local chap Andrew was telling yarns & reciting poems
Andrew told a story about "Duck shooting" which is really funny & I hadn't heard it for
40 years.
When I was travelling around Europe, a friend from Boggabri, Ross Barlow had everyone in stitches when he told this very same story around many a campfire

Early start this morning a ride on Jandra paddleboat (replica)
along the Darling river

We just had to walk down from the camp to river to catch the boat

Darling river has about 4.5 metres of water at the moment
