Eddie went home this morning & we are off to Rankins Springs this afternoon about 65 kms NE of Griffith

Hogs Breath restaurant - Wagga Wagga

Off to Wagga Wagga today, I have an appointment with eye specialist at 3.15pm

(got the all clear, which is good news)

Arrived in time for lunch @ Hogs Breath restaurant, first time for all of us

Southern Cross Cotton gin near Darlington Point

After lunch headed off out the Leeton road 12kms to the Southern Cross cotton gin

The local cotton farmers got together & built this cotton gin @ cost 23 Million dollars,
this is only it's 2nd year of production

We were hoping we might be able to have a tour, guy was away till next week, so maybe we can get a tour in next week or so, while they are still processing the cotton

De Bortoli wines

Eddie arrived from Wollongong on Saturday, so we are out & about today

 Off to buy some port & maybe bottle or two of vino!!!

 

1st stop De Bortoli winery,

just love these dogs guarding the entrance,

 especially the one in front with his/her front legs

crossed !!!

 

Ended up checking out Berton & McWillaims wines as well & lunch at
Darlington Point
