The ladies all looked glamorous in their lovely dresses, they all went "all out"
to take out the prizes

The lady on stage 2nd from the right is
"Cherry Doll face"
they had brought her out from states, apparently she is an internet sensation
covered in "tatts" & gives women/girls tips on how to create the look of the 40's & 50's, rockabilly etc

FABULOUS

Hot Rods & Vintage cars

What a day Sunday turned out to be
All the Rev heads arrived in town with their chicky babes all decked out to the 9's

500 cars lines the main drag of town

Expected crowd on Sunday 40,000 people

The town was jumping with 3 stages playing music & people dancing everywhere
Loads of people dressed in RNR gear, vintage 40's & 50's gear
Atmosphere was fantastic & we were blessed with the weather, even though it rained overnight, the days were bright & sunny

Our friends Pam & Gary from Wallsend came over & spent the day with us, which was really nice to catch up

Back to bowlo tonite to see Blue Suede Rockers
Danced our feet off

Kurri Kurri Nostaglia festival weekend

What a fabulous weekend in the country town of Kurri Kurri. This is the 11th festival & I must say just getting bigger & bigger
A big crowd on Saturday, but Sunday is the BIG ONE!!!

Mark from Jukebox Jive getting everyone up & dancing

Dancing in the street!!!
Lady in black & orange was having a ball, shaking her bogey

Couple in blue are old friends from the Band club

Couple doing a slow swing number in the dance competition

Bob & I danced in a Rock N Roll comp, only 3 couples, but missed the presentation, so don't know if we won or not.  Might have come home with a nice trophy!!!

On Friday night we went down to the bowling club, great Rockabilly band playing
Robbie & Rattlesnakes.
Definitely had a bigger audience,  than when we saw them at Cardiff RSL.... just Bob & me & another couple
Camped at local cricket club about 3 blocks from town
