About 10km from town on the way to Griffith is Gogeldrie weir
The weir diverts water from the Murrumbidgee river to local farmland, creating on of the most productive & diverse agricultural areas in Australia
Camping is also permitted on the north side of the river
We spent the night camped next to the river
